Keep it up, you all awaken the longing and the dreams in and with children you are simply wonderful
We took a quick look around the post office and ate in the Christmas house café. The service employee was very responsive to the children's wishes and needs, very straightforward. Coffee, tea, lentil soup, Viennese sausages, waffles and cake and soda. Prices ok
When we were there it was very busy. I had the feeling that the waitress had lost track of everything. As a result, we had to wait a long time before we could order and until the food came. There were about 4-6 types of cake to choose from. That was okay and they tasted good too.
Nicely furnished Santa Claus room, unfortunately it was hardly possible to drop a wish letter from my son in the mailbox around 11am. Therefore from me a small. Deduction.
In wonderful weather, tables decorated with beautiful flowers, fresh waffles and delicious coffee awaited us. Thanks to the whole team, who provided our group quickly and in a friendly manner.
Will be back with our daughter again. The cafe is very nice there. The cake and coffee were very tasty.
Location with a beautiful view. Ready-to-eat cakes from the freezer and soup also taste like canned. Coffee was good. The staff could be very unmotivated and therefore not welcoming. All in all, poor value for money.
A quiet place, but still very nice. In addition to the Christmas house, there is a herb garden, cozy restaurants and a large building for chocolate fans
Santa Claus is nicely decorated. The staff in the cafe deserves no mention! Unfriendly without end. Throwing out just because I wanted to pay for postcards. Apparently, you don't need sales in corona times.
Although Wiener was on the menu, there wasn't even this one at lunchtime. It was said - no hot meals. You don't need much to warm Viennese people. Just a little goodwill. The toilet was unclean.
Wonderful place with a very special flair and a fantastic view of an old monastery ruin and the house lake. The Christmas house, furnished with attention to detail, doesn't just make children's eyes shine. In addition to excellent coffee and an always delicious selection of cakes, the café offers very friendly service, and the owner is committed to ensuring that every guest immediately feels welcome. We will definitely be back soon :)
Actually everything is round and really nicely laid out. The ambience and the cake were really delicious. But the good mood is quickly destroyed by the bad mood and the blinkers with which you are served there.
Just been there 😐 Unfortunately, the staff comes across as demotivated. One wonders through what there is. Very dirty the toilet! I pointed this out to the staff & nothing happened during our visit! Not to be accepted at the special times of Covid! What a shame!
Very pleasant atmosphere, nice people, you can talk to each other or just sit in the courtyard and relax with a glass of wine. A place that connects people, certainly thanks to the committed boss and your team. The cake was a pleasure, as were the things from the grill with changing salads. What I would like as a guest would not necessarily be to have to use the public toilet. Thanks for the good work, the spirit and the quality of the food and drinks, we'd love to come back.
Very nice ambience, but the service very rude! Although there was not so much going on .. Cake from the freezer which is not so bad, but should also be on the menu ... Price-performance ratio is not suitable for this offer ... According to my request, whether the cake is self-baked or comes from a regional bakery, I got an unfriendly answer that it does not work with the masses of people sitting here ... So on the way it is not recommended .... But otherwise a nice environment right on the lake .. 😉
Himmelpfort itself is not inviting. I don't like to judge whether it's due to Corona. There are certainly friendlier places that are worth seeing. Some front gardens look out, sometimes looking for opportunities to stop in vain.
Summer time is probably not the right time to get that Christmas feeling. With our houseboat we headed for Himmelfort, looked at the monastery and the Christmas house, which has been really lovingly prepared ... I would have loved to take a greeting from Santa Claus for my child ... but unfortunately you won't find anything like that in summer. Therefore a star deduction. Otherwise a nice quiet place to have a good coffee.
All illusions of children and adults are fulfilled, Santa Claus lives there. You can see, experience and enjoy a lot. An eye and stomach feast.
June 2020 - on my trip to Himmelpfort, of course, a visit to the Christmas parlor was a must. The Santa Claus house is well furnished, equipped with many small, beautiful things. And of course the Santa Claus mailbox should not be missing, in which you can insert your wishes all year round. My dear granny, Ms. Ingeborg Bielefeld, has helped Santa Claus to write the many letters for many years and she will surely like that the tradition of the Christmas parlor is preserved to this day. Keep it up.
Pretty place, you can also reach it very well by bike, as there are well-signposted bike paths. The Christmas room was also nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We liked it a lot.
One can here pay with card. Good tasty food, to a good price.
